Utilizing leading edge advancements and products in plant and animal health, we are the supplier of choice in our area. We are currently seeking a General Manager to lead our team!
Key Responsibilites
- Responsible for P&L of the business, leading the financial performance of the business through effective business planning and execution
- Direct and coordinate organization’s financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency
- Oversee the activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, sales, customer service, and/or distribution of products and services
- Front-line customer service, handling customer inquiries/concerns, pricing discrepancies, problem resolution
- Procurement management of fertilizer, chemical, and seed purchasing and pricing
- Determine staffing requirements, support the hiring and training of new employees, or oversee those personnel processes
- Responsible for setting business goals and objectives along with personal development plans for all direct reports
- Actively participate on the board for the organization, and work with key stakeholders and business partners to support the operational health of the business

Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- You hold a bachelor’s or college degree in Business Management or a related field
- You have a minimum of 5 years in management positions or relevant positions in the agriculture industry
- Solid understanding and knowledge of financial planning as well as management skills
- Proven strong supervisory, interpersonal, organizational, and business planning skills
- Ability to implement change while maintaining satisfaction of customers and employees
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office
